Centura Health: Behind the Scenes

Over the past 25 years, Cosmic has worked with hospitals and healthcare professionals across the country- we’ve celebrated frontline heroes, highlighted recovery and healing, and portrayed the uncomfortable, hard moments within the profession. We work carefully to perfect our storytelling, accurately depicting the highs and lows of healthcare while showcasing the heart behind it all. Due to the multitude of projects that have taken us to film in hospitals across the nation, we understand the importance of maintaining professionalism as we work alongside healthcare caregivers.

Cosmic helped launch Centura Health’s hospitals in Utah through our latest collaboration with Faktory. These spots showcase the staff members at Holy Cross Hospital not only as incredible caregivers, but also incredibly caring people.

The campaign features two storylines. The first follows a caregiver checking in on a patient after a long shift at the hospital; out of the kindness of her heart, she takes a few extra moments to sit with her patient and comfort her. This concept featured a version utilizing both an English and Spanish script. The second shows a man struggling with a flat tire on the side of the road, being passed by multiple cars before eventually being helped by a healthcare professional still sporting their scrubs. These spots prove healthcare workers are already heroes in their profession, but continue to go above and beyond for others in everyday life. The spots were shot at the Centura St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Doubling as director and photographer, Greg Kiefer delivered dynamic spots and timeless still photographs that can be used in healthcare marketing time and time again. In addition, he captured unique behind-the-scenes film photos showcased in the gallery below.
